You know you're a mom when...

-You pull some toilet paper off the roll and it has holes in it where your one-year-old clawed the roll.

-You can't figure out why the zipper on your pants won't work until you realize that the pants are on inside-out.

-You constantly have food stuck to the bottom of your feet.

-Stories on the news about kids seriously affect you.

-Even though you don't agree with leaving your kids on the street, you understand the impulse to do it.

-You have bruises all over your body without knowing how they got there.

-You are truly thankful for Spongebob (and you've seen most of the episodes).

-You are totally out of shape (who has the time?), except for your arms which are like He-Man from picking up kids all day.

New Blog

My hubby and I are building a "barndominium" for my parents as a ranch house. I started a blog so friends and family can follow our progress. I'm also hoping that others reading the blog can get some useful information if they are building something similar. See the blog at Texas Barndominium.

Swine flu - 1; Me - 0

So we did have to change our trip. I know it's the best decision for everyone, but I'm still disappointed. We decided to stay in the U.S. We are flying into Phoenix and staying at the Intercontinental Montelucia. It looks like a nice resort, and it has a couple of pools. I'm bummed we don't get to go to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico, but I'll still get to relax and sleep late. And I get to spend time with my hubby that includes finishing a conversation and eating a meal slowly.
